Moving to a new area always fills me with dread when it comes to finding a new hair salon, so walking into Abstract for the first time was such a pleasant surprise. From my initial visit on a lunch break to enquire about availability, the front of house team were incredibly warm and welcoming — something that immediately set the salon apart. After a consultation, I booked in with Lara for a colour, cut and blow dry, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. I was feeling anxious about trying a new salon, but Lara instantly put me at ease. She was friendly, professional, and clearly very experienced. She listened carefully to my questions and concerns, understood exactly what I was looking for, and delivered beyond my expectations. The colour was perfect, the trim gave my hair fresh shape and texture, and the hair mask left it feeling unbelievably soft, glossy and healthy. Finished with a beautiful bouncy blow dry, my hair looked exactly how I had hoped — if not better. I can’t recommend Lara or Abstract enough. It’s a high-quality salon offering exceptional service, outstanding results, and such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Thank you to Lara and the team for such a fantastic experience. I’m already looking forward to my next appointment!

I visited Abstract for the first time for a wash cut and blow dry and was completely blown away by the service! As soon as I entered I was treated like royalty, being pampered from start to finish. I was served complimentary coffee and biscuits which were delicious. I had my hair done by Rachel, who gave me the best massage I’ve ever had whilst washing my hair, she had the patience of a saint with my hair being SO thick. She was extremely thorough and very much a perfectionist (every customers dream)! The difference it has made to my confidence is insane. Would highly recommend!
